i will clean and polish it after ive done all the work i want to do. to be fair it has covered about 1000 miles this month, which is alot for me, and alot seeing as it spent 2 weeks with Rich, so a few bugs on the front are to be expected Big grin

i painted the badge before i bought the lights and when fitted separately they looked alright, but i did question it when fitted together and just thought it might be one of those things that will grow on me. the blue masks are staying because i like that they are different to the usual trend of black, but does anyone have any suggestions for the badge?

and thankyou Ash

First thing you need to do is change the tyres, no wonder youve had a bent wheel!

last step was the instrument panel. i thought i could just sand off the yellow die on the back of the dials but that was too much hassle so decided to go back to metal monkey and get some almost standard looking dials from them. was alot easier and i think better looking. and yes you guessed.... blue leds behind it Big grin

my only issue was trying to get the needles back in exactly the right place, i think i may be a couple of degrees out with the oil and fuel needles. i did mark where they were before i removed them and took reference photos but it seems impossible to get them 100% accurate again?

this was followed by a clean, then chamois, then polish. i dont think the car has been very well looked after as the paint seemed very flat and dull. anyone got any advice on how to get it to shine like a china should?

apologies for the seriously bad auto focus

Thanks Mike. The stickers are a great little detail and finish the car off nicely Thumbs up

Still to come:
Change headlight bulbs for legal ice blue bulbs, rather than hid's.

Followed by Miles gear linkages because it's constantly missing 3rd, I'm hoping that will fix the problem, unless anyone has another suggestion?

Then when finances allow...
Solid beam mounts, lower 30mm and possibly some other new suspension components to suit.

i have had some professional photos taken by a good friend of mine, he's actually a wildlife photographer but was kind enough to recommend a lovely location and try something different in the form of my 6. if anyone in the dorset/hampshire areas would like a photographer for any occasion please let us know, hes a great guy and great photographer.

so the location.... we chose one of the top 3 locations in the country as voted in country life magazine. its a spot on the Jurassic coast, on Abbotsbury hill overlooking Chesil beach towards the isle of Portland with St Catherine's chapel perched alone on the next hill.

FUN FACT: the bouncing bomb was tested at this very beach Cool

possibly more to come in next few days Big grin
