went to change the starter motor and the only way i can see of doing it is by removing the intake manifold. looked at the faq on it an thats easy enough but i take it you'd have to remove the air intake on the right hand side to completly remove it? or can you just move the manifold slightly to get access?

when i turn the key it just clicks. battery reads 12.4v so i take it it is the starter motor?

any help would be greatly apreciated guys Hmm

take the manifold off. you can leave the airbox in place but just have to remove the pipes next to it.

Did mine recently as i had a similar issue.

If you can get to the starter motor you should see next to where the terminal for the main battery connector is another terminal. Stick +12v from a jump lead etc and see if it turns.. if so then sounds like the solenoid inside had died.

It's been a while since I looked at a standard manifold but can it not be done from below?
