Hi all,

Tried fitting my Alpine iDA-X100 headunit in my 306, but it's not powering up at all. Tried swapping the yellow and red bullet connectors about but that's made heehaw difference. When I re-fit the standard Clarion HU that works with no probs at all either!

Alpine HU also works straight away in my 206 Crazy

Anyone got any ideas what the problem may be? Had a search and looked in the FAQ's but there doesn't appear to be anything that specifically covers my problem.

Any help is appreciated Thumbs up

G

Yes i know this. You have to swap the pins in the ISO connector around if you've had it in a 206 (as someone will have done this to get it to work in the 206). Cant remember which ones though but you need to make the ISO block (that you plug the 306 loom into) look like the one in this picture:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/harness-JVC-KD-LX-3R-more-ISO-wiring-Lead-adapter-/140302029716?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Terminals_Cabling_ET&hash=item20aaa71394

Sorry I cant be clearer but this is exactly the problem I had when connecting a radio that had been in a 206 into my 6.
