Are both clamps the same on a standard exhaust system? Part number 1713 56

Can only see one part number listed for both the cat-mid and mid-back joins

Also are the earthing straps essential on the exhaust? The Magnex had none but SB says there should be a couple...

Think my local exhaust place will have those sexy sounding 69 size clamps? Pug only want £6.65 each which is bearable but might be able to get them from my local for a sky diver tomorrow

see if you can get the single bolt clamps, they have been superseeded now by the cheaper 2 bolt type but are much better, I got some off AEP on ebay.

Just to confirm, is 69mm the correct clamp size for a standard exhaust system? I think one of mine is too small and I can never seal it properly all the way around the join. Sad

I've seen the one bolt versions of the clamp that Mei is talking about too, are these worth getting then? Any downsides? It does look like they'll provide a larger contact area to clamp, I must admit.

I went to get some for my "cough" Citroen "cough" and the single bolt clamps have superseded those shitty double part clamps. Its still a completely shit way of joining exhausts together.
