hi just would like to no if its posible to mix and match a 2.0 gti 6 engine with a 306 2.0 turbo diesel engine

using the diesel bottom engine block of a diesel engine with the low compresson pistons and put a gti 6 head on

think he wants to mix gti head with hdi block and bottom end in orger to tubro carge it.

Diesel cranks and rods are often used to make higher displacement XU engines, don't think the RS head fits the XUD block though?

head will fit afaik, but the pistons and rods are useless for a petrol application.

its only the longer stroke crank that is sometimes used in larger capacity xu engines

begs the question why though! just use an xu10 block, thousands about
