Removing gearbox today, all loosened off lovely and tried to pull off and remembered clutch arm. I punched the clip the end where the spring is... opps and then realised it needs to be pulled out, not knocked through.

My issue is I have no end to grip to pull, and i cant force it back from behind as theres no room.

What are my options?

My citroen mechanic said get a bar in the box and rip it off, but im not liking that idea!

Lever it from behind with a driver, you should be able to swing the arm far enough to get something.

    Or

Bend the arm upwards and straighten it afterwards once it's off - bend it far enough and the arm will rotate further and disengage from the clutch.

    Or

Cut the arm off and get a new one afterwards.

You can drill it out, the metal of the pin is not really hard.

Pins are available from Peugeot but order in only. Inexpensive.

Ive wound some spring compressors around the arm and the cable plate, but cant for the lofe of me beat or force the pin back through.

All this hassle when the FAQ explained all. Sigh.

Will call it a day and look at it again tomorrow.

Didnt think of the small screw idea!

    Thanks for the part numbers.

I have plenty of driveshafts here if you need one.
