Steering wheel and dash shakes between 40-85 feels like wheels need balancing. So I just got my brand new wheels and tyres rebalanced (Fronts)no real difference.
Scratching my head fair bit now as Saturday fitted new wheel bearings as drivers was fuked and fitted new lower engine mount a month ago and most of the suspension 6 month ago - struts, mounts tie rods, rod ends, wishbones, droplinks. Discs are Ok not warped/bent.

All I could put it down to is the shafts they looked Ok at the hub side.
A friend has a set of shafts form a 1.8 16v and a set from a 1.8 8v has anyone fitted them to a 6 before ? Would like to try them out before I spend any more cash.

If the diff was on the way out would it cause my symptoms ?
