It depends more on whether the cooling vanes inside the rotor are angled or straight.

If they're straight then it doesn't really matter - if you look at a new Aston Martin V8 Vantage, that has the grooves going in opposite directions on left & right side of the car. It looks a bit pikey, but it's how the leave the factory.

When I first fitted my Ash / Brembo brake kit, Denis pointed that I had the rotors on back-to-front (or at least the opposite direction to him & Ash) Doh

They should be correct way mounted as this is what the manual says. Have checked it again as you made me confused simon LOL

Snap! I did exactly the same as I thought they looked better that way LOL

I should've looked at the grooves on the rears for reference!
