ive done a search and cant find much information on what bulbs are used in various places on the car. now i know some of you are probably thinking this is standard knowledge, but wouldnt it be a good idea to have a thread with all the bulb types and places listed to make it alot easier to find replacements? for example theres 2 types that i am having trouble finding, the first is the number plate bulbs. and the second is a dash light, it is the one to illuminate the dip beam indicator. all information would be greatly appreciated

crystal headlights (dip and main) - h7
ph3 front fogs - h1
number plate/sidelights/side repeaters/various interior - 501

The number plate bulbs will be 501's.

501, thats a number ive seen a few times on here, would that be the same as the sidelights? and possibly used in a few other places?

It's for the old school mod of twin rear fog lights. It's the holder for left hand drive cars, theirs will be blank on the side ours have a bulb.
