Well try to name it anyway....

Start car up, idles fine for around 1min, then stutters on idle as seen in this vid:

Take it for a drive and stutter persists through the rev range.

Have changed the stepper, no difference.
Have unplugged the lamda and left it to idle, same issue.

Whats next would we say, Map sensor?

Have checked and cleaned all the other sensors and they seem fine Dunno

Cheers all Thumbs up

Pint to the man that gets it right Cheers

Going on it getting worse as it starts to warm I'd point to the green cts.

Have you taken the plugs out to see what they look like?

I think its f*cked and i'll give you £250 for it. And a bag of crisps which i've just eaten.

CTS could be a winner, i'd compression test it too just to be sure.

Are you ever up north, Tom? I'll plug it in if you like and we can work out what it is.

When my CAY blocked it had diff symptoms so I would rule that out.

Through what rev range does it stutter?

Does it do it throughout the whole rev range, or just at the low end?

Coil pack?? Try un-plugging one in turn until the the right one is found. At the very least it'll tell yoo which cylinder is the problemSmile

Go over all the extended wires and see if manipulating them stops it stuttering.

A soldered joint could have come loose, so a sensor is reading odd. I'd get it to someone who has diag equipment, sensor roulette is expensive, diag will also tell you if you have any wiring issues. It told me that my TPS wires were shorting out.

I had bad stutter on my 405 when the inlet manifold gasket was shot. Was drawing in unaccounted for air obviously.
