Pretty self explanitary really. Which battery is the better to go for?
From the search people say to use the one for a hdi,anyone know the number for it?
Ill be poppin in to halfords after work to pick it up,open l8 trade card.tried lookin on line but cant seem to find it listed.

306 HDI one will be fine

pretty sure the HDI and GTI 6 ones are the same as standard. You have the option of fitting a bigger one to a HDI though as there is no battery box.

Cheers for the response.
The gti is hbc012(4yr warranty). The disel one is hbc013.
The gti one is about an inch smaller and has less starting power apparently. The diesel one fits into the box a treat, gettin 40quid off was also a bonus Smile

I think mine is HBC013. the 'C' stands for Calcium. The HB013 has a lower current cpacity.
