hi guys could someone confirm the problem i have.im driving along and all of a sudden it dies then kicks in after a few seconds it doesnt cut out im thinking icv cause other than the tps; i have changed every sensor it backfired once and its getting worse a trip to carls i think could anyone shed any light on this many thanks for your time

Ive got exactly the same problem, it seems to do it at the same point after leaving my house from work! Very strange.

Unlikely to be the crank sensor as they tend not to start. Check the wiring though.

Unplug the others and see if its any different.

Have you actually changed the sensors or just taken them of and given them a clean? This doesn't always work in my experience, especially the ICV and MAP Sensor. Id recommend forking out for a new one of each if you cant find the problem and if it still isn't sorted at least you know they are less likely to go wrong in the future.

Can even be fuel pump.

thankyou for replys had new lambda and map changed a couple of mths ago and tps has been changed but not a new one.

ok not done went down motorway today and it feels like im going over a cobbled road it does it at all speeds so its not the wheel balancing please help or im going to get rid after changing the icv its better because it doesnt die out but the car does not run as it should i have changed tps map and green sensors any advice apart from burning it.
