It's peppered along the front of the bonnet, bumper front wings and there's lacquer lifting on the wing mirrors rear bumper, bonnetAngry Angry
12 years,160000 miles of going to work and the odd play on the back roads have not been kind...

you could save yourself a fortune and strip and prep it yourself then send it to get sprayed.

I have no garage to put the car in while I strip it and sand it down - or what ever you do. also I need a car to get to work so a garage with a load car would be ideal. I wonder what Carl could do..Roll eyes

If you want a body shop to do all the work, stripping lights/bumpers/trims etc you won't see much change from £2000 for a good jobWink

yep, up to £2k was what I got quoted for a full respray about 2 years ago. That included them doing all the prep work as well.

Maybe not as bad as yours but for £450 ish i recently had the following done.

Front bumper removed stone chips repaired and sprayed.
Bonnet stone chips repaired and sprayed including blending into the wings.
Rear bumper repaired (hairline cracks in paintwork) on the car and re-sprayed.
Whole car given a mop over.

They did and excellent job and well worth the money IMO.

that sounds pretty good for £450! That doesn't leave much bodywork to be done....unless you've got dings in your doors. Did the rest of the panels come up quite well with the polish?

Anyone recommend a paint place that's friendly to the scene?

Also I'm after getting my bumper resprayed (I've got a blaze 1 I need going black) how much do you reckon they'll be after for that?

I had front/back bumper, whole tailgate sprayed and dent poped out of quarter panel with the panel being resprayed too for £400. Job was really good.

Best thing to do is go out and get some quotes to see what sort of prices your looking at.

Mine helped because i was recommend by a friend.
