This started last night, the stop warning light on the dash with every now and again just start flashing. Now I was under the impression that if there was an issue, it would stay on until that issue was resolved.

It started to rain last night while I was fitting a fuse closer to the battery for the power cable to my amp, so I'm wondering if it's possible that a sensor may have got a bit wet and is causing this?

Alternatively, could the earth for the amp cause something like this to occur? Because that is the only other thing that has been touched since before the light started flashing.

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on the issue, any suggestions will be much appreciated Smile

P.S I have already checked all fluid/oil levels and all of them are fine. At the moment the light is just more annoying than concerning... LOL

When its flashing it flashes fairly randomly, and it doesn't seem to have any sequence to when it will start flashing either.

Do the fans kick in when the light comes on? If so then its a faulty connection on the brown temperature sensor, mine used to do thisjust take the plug off and clean up the connectors as best as possible.

Seems to have stopped of its own accord, I did disconnect the earth from my amp for a while to see if it had any effect.

I think what had happened was while I was under the bonnet and it rained the sensor may have got a bit wet but with the past couple of days of sun it has just dried out. I'm unsure but seems to be resolved for the time being anyways Smile

Cheers for the help guys. Smile
