Hi guys, I'll be back! I'll ask to you a little question.
In my 2.0 16v roadster I'll have the bosch 70A alternator, but in anticipation of I.C.E. installs I'll want to get an uprated alternator, like 120A or more, the Gti-6 alternator will be a 90A but I think it was not adeguated for future use. Anyone of you knows what alternator can be straight fit to the standard holes? Someone from other peugeots or citroens (406, xantia, xsara, ecc.)??
I'll need a correct information or if someone can have one of this 120A alternators in they hands for make the buy of one ot this and continue my engine rebuild.
Thanks and sorry again for my english

You may be better off sending your current alternator off for a re-wind to the desired current.

Or the better alternative if your having that big-a sound system in the car is to go for a 2nd battery in the boot with a split load charge system.

Hi, well, my alternator works good and I will have it in case of emergency, I'll have no problems to buy another alternator but I'll need the more Amps one. I've already move the battery to the boot and use a Northstar gel battery, that have more short circuit amps than a standard battery, and I'll have a 3 Farad power cap, but with bigger alternator I'll resolve the recharge problems.

Finally found it! If you search for uprated alternator you can use the berlingo 1.8i. alternator, it mounts 90 & 120A alternators. Sligtly bigger then standard unit but same brackets.
