what was the thinking to use world pay over paypal?

world pay = £15-19 per month + 3.35% per transaction + 15p per transaction

paypal = 3.4% per transaction + 20p


so far world play look to be a pain in the ass.

paypal has no monthly charges so would probably work out cheaper for you in costs unless you can guarantee a large voume of new subscriptions per month.
