On Wednesday 23rd March, the forum will switch to read-only. You will not be able to send PM, or post to the forum or gallery.

Once this is done, I will be backing up the database and doing a full wash/wax/hoover/interior polish on it. I might even clean the glass too.

I'll leave the site in 'read-only' until the database is imported into the new site and we're ready to go, which should only take a few days.

I'll put a note up on the homepage, so you can keep track of progress / problems. Feel free to check it every now and then ...

is it not worth putting something on the top of the http://www.306gti6.com/forum/ to make it more visible. I missed the homepage announcement because I have the forum in my favorites but miss out the homepage to save the extra click.

+1 always go straight to http://www.306gti6.com/forum/forum and never go to the homepage.
