I haven't driven a 306 Gti6 before and haven't driven a 306 for ages so I may be worrying about nothing, but I my engine seems very juddery in low revs. Almost feels like its running on 3 cylinders, but it still pulls really well and is nice and fast at high revs.

Should I take it to pug1off or someone like that to have a look.

Could be...

head gasket
TPS
MAP
ICV
lambda

to name but a few things. For example when my lambda went it ran fine when caning it but was a bag of crap when at part throttle

i think its cause i'm used to driving coupe turbos, they break every 5 minutes.....if you hear a strange noise or feel a funny vibration, the first thing you do is work out where you can get £500 from to fix it.
