288mm Xantia discs are a direct fitment with 406 Brembo calipers on the 306 Yes

Do you have the make and part number of the discs?

As Rich says, 288mm is what you're after, measure them up and see what you've got.

Almost certainly though you have the wrong discs.

There not direct fit. You will have to mill some off the brembos. Or you can use 307 HDI 110 front disks which is direct fit but they squeal.

The 288x28 discs are a direct fit.

There is also a 283x26 disc used on the Xantia that does not fit directly. It sounds like you (and the OP) have / had those.

You can see on the drawings that there's a 4mm difference in the mounting face to disc face offset.

288x28: 283x26:

And this is the 206 / 207 / 307 283x26 disc:

Erm.. yeah I was about to post up those pics I had to hand too LOL

I guarantee the Xantia 288x28mm discs are a direct fit, because I fitted them directly.
