Can anyone give me an idea why my 6's engine still keep shaking and popping in exhaust system no matter i did below.

1) ICV, Map & O2 sensors have been replaced
2) All Engine mounts have been replaced
3) Inlet manifold & Exhaust inspected no leak
4) Spark plugs have been replaced
6) Timing Belt kits have been replaced
7) Injectors have been inspected and cleaned

Thanks!

Air leak from somewhere? i know mine had a very small airleak and caused similar symptoms, and got worse as the hole increased. iirc it was one of the rubber pipes that had perished. but it took me a lot of money for the garage to figure it out, once replaced the car had never run so good, so it must have been there since i bought it.

Thanks mate!

I'll check the rubber pipes tomorrow.

Hope it's the same problem as yours.

Yes, power down a bit absolutely.

Checked there is no rubber pipe air leak.

This situation appear on idle.

How to check the coil pack is dogdy or not? Check voltage?

Thanks mate!

Pull the plugs off the coil packs one by one and see if it makes a difference to the engine running. If the first one does, then put the plug back it's obviously working....when you get to one where you take the plug off and find the engine running is no different, you have found the dodgy one.....

Stan.

Hi, I'd say that was a failed coil pack too. They cost £50 each new but you may be able to get a set cheaper from a member on the Club.
