when i go over 80mph my car starts to vibrate i have 2.0 hdi i have 4 new tyres all balanced...i have no wheel aligment(dont think it will help or will?) if realy need one do i have to do front and rear aligment??? or a bent rim ??? my car passed the mot about 5 weeks ago so i gues the suspesion is ok...whtat else is there its realy anoying!!!!!! help

one more thing i have only two original flat seated bolts on each alloy wheel(8) and two steel bolts on each wheel(8)...cant get hold of the rest...can this cause vibration at high speeds

yes new tyres aligment...all done wheel balancing problems are around 60mph mine is 80mph+ anyway i need to get flatseated bolts

Does the vibration go away if you go faster (not encouraging you to find out). 80mph is right for wheel balancing problem and I would guess that's your problem.

Just because they've just been done doesn't mean they were done right. There are a million threads about this.

Mate if you've got two incorrect bolts on each wheel and possibly screwed suspension I wouldn't go driving anywhere at 100mph if I were you.

I'd agree with wheel balancing. Take them to a different garage and have them done again.

It will be wheel balancing Smile
Also, would be a good idea to use all the correct bolts to be on the safe side.

As for wheel alignment, get it done at the same time.
If the wheels are pointing the opposite way, they will tear your car in half Shock Yes
