LOL Welcome to S16 ownership, 3 years later I still feel the same!
Everytime I fix something, I notice something else wrong. For the money I've put into it I could've owned the white Rallye I always dreamt of.

Be careful it might be worth checking that the head is ok and that the head has been torqued up properly.

Buying these half finished engine cars can be dodgy Unsure
For piece of mind i would take the head off inspect everything is ok, you do not want to put all back together and find out that the engine is a dud.

That is my opinion anyway.

I know a lot of people say what is the point of having a s16 when you can have a 6 but there are so little of these s16's about now these days that it would be good to see some saved, especially in sigma Cool

Good luckSmile

ah f*ck it, it's fine, it's worth £150 as scrap value anyway so either stick it out and fix it up or just break the thing and get your cash back

i wouldn't ever buy something with the engine in bits though and assume something was right on it

i bought an 8v xsi P reg in sigma blue for £100 with a blown head gasket, took it home, stripped a load of shit off it and still managed to sell it for £400

cut the roof off it and make a convertible hatchback
