Hi all,

As spring approaches and we all will be able to keep our cars cleaner for more than a day I was thinking about refurbing and spraying my cyclones. Question is which colour do you lot think would suit?

The following options are.

Graphite/gun metal
Silver
Shadow chrome
Gloss black

My 6 is a Nile. I was also thinking red calipers to match the red gti badges???

Thanks in advance Matt

Sell your cyclones and get something better. 15" x 7" at about 5.5kg a corner with say Michelin PE2s and you could be looking at as much as 25kg reduction in unsprung weight. Makes a big difference to acceleration, turn-in and mpg.

After having 16" and 15"x 7" wide wheels i'd stick with 15s. Unless you need them to go over some fairly large brakes. Smile

TD pro race 1.2s
Superleggeras
BTCC magnesiums

Not sure whats currently on offer tbh as I only moved to the 16" Team Dynamics so I could fit an Ash 310mm brake setup.
The C5 'steels' are 6" wide but weigh a lot less than 5.5kg again.

I'm trying to find a set of the TD 1.2s for the volvo at a decent price but nothing doing so far.

I'm slightly drawn towards black. But alot of people have said silver will look fresh. Anyone up for photo shopping some up? I'm clueless with it

Pro race 1.2's would look ace. Shame for a decent set of new alloys your looking at around £600 then you gotta wrap them in new tyres. Afraid you are hereby banned from anthracite or gloss black matty as they are officially designated to me should i be keeping my 6! And there aint enough room in town for the both of us! Big grin
