what the hell dose this mean? opened my filler cap at the petrol station had like a vacuum in the tank .. blocked pipe?

ive noticed it on loads of cars, always seems to do it when the tanks nearly empty

Normal would of thought just air pressure build up all that air replacing the fuel you have used.

Sadly it means that there are snakes in your fuel tank. I think there is a thread on 306.net explaining exactly how to get rid of them. Be careful though chap, wouldn't want you to die early now

LOL

It means your evap solenoid is stuck open and the engine is sucking the air out of the fuel tank, mine did it a few years ago and it took me a while to work out what was going on.

ive heard of this happening, belive its a blocked fule tank breather pipe, vacumes the tank.
