I'm currently in the process of relocating my mechanical boost gauge. It's currently above the ashtray and is going to the A pillar. I therefore have to double the length of hose as ill still be using the same hole drilled into engine bay. My question is, will the added length of hose affect the performance of the gauge?
Cheers

Cheers , would it be best to have the same diameter hose all the way through.
The hose i have to go on is larger than the existing hose, i was just going to connect the two together.

either 3 or 4mm i believe, on mine rich then reduced it to a smaller harder pipe to run it through the engine bay, I've got some more 4mm bore stuff to join onto it and run it through the interior.

don't know if doubling the bore size will affect the performance of the gauge though

Shouldnt as your still getting same amount of pressure regardless of size of hose could be wrong like
