I have one of those flip out DVD monitors in my car and as I'm taking my nephew on an 8 hour drive, I though it'd be nice to hook up the xbox 360 for him.

So it's pretty simple, 3 wires into the back and we're away. Except, it's only in black and white? Now I'm pretty useless when it comes to things like this, so does anyone have any ideas? Is it that they're not compatible? I would have thought if I can get a picture, I can colour? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Surely that's not a sensible idea? Unsure

I would expect sudden bumps and jolts to damage the disc and probably the hard drive too.

Agreed! You can damage the disks by moving the console while on.

If you must I'd at least stick to games installed on the HDD.

It's possible but the PS3 seems less prone to it.

Quite surprised by that, i know they are not designed for use in cars but never thought problems would extend beyond the disc skipping or something No

Looks like the N64 cartridge system has its worth after all LOL
