Can someone reccommend me a valve srping compressor?

And any advice or anything I should look out for?

i used a 12" G clamp and a bit of 1" steel pipe with two 'windows' cut in the sides. that did the job as good as the proper one i used to put them back in.

If you decide to buy one, get one with long handles, the springs on these heads are strong as hell and take some serious compressing.

This is not for a GTi6 head, but an XUD head, which also has extremely strong springs. Thanks for the advice, tbh thinking about it I might buy one, going to be rebuilding a couple of heads soon...

Good idea, will save a lot of time over the course of threading a G-clamp in and out 16+ times.
