was out removing the radiator cap there and when i removed it it seemed to have a large metal washer thing come with it, if i remember right this has never came off with it before
not sure if its my imagination either but i've put it back on an i aint sure its sealin the same as it did before

havnt needed to start the car since then though

best buy a new one, under £15 from a dealer IIRC.

ran the car upto temp an all seemed fine but i'm guessing it'll be different when i'm driving longer distances
