Not heard it myself to be honest, it was like all the other bits that was meant to be added, they took for ever to come along and when they did amendments come out as special notices to excuse various cars from themLOL

Yep every car you log on for an mot has a check list of what to check for on the specific car, some when you print them out are two pages long.

It will state things like if it has abs fitted and how the light should come on and go off.

Yes when you log the car on it prints out a check sheet, the testers use this to write the failure points on, brake results etc.

Brake change againLOL cause I'm a knobThumbs up

KAD's sold in favour of AP kit,310mm discs and CP3307 calipers with EBC yellow stuff padsSmile

Stripped them down and re-greased pistons, new bleed nipples and a quick paint jobSmile

Fill the 16's nicelyThumbs up

Hoping to get a few thousand miles out of the discs, they are a bit pitted due to car they came off being stood, but are cleaning up ok atm and not showing any signs of being warped.
When I replace them I will get 315mm discs,as with using the 310mm's there is pad overhangThumbs down

Couple of mm.

Only way to move them in would be to oval the mounting holes, think I would rather run bigger rotorsThumbs up

if they're radially mounted you could get the brackets skimmed a little, depends how much clearance there is from the bell to the pad too.

also there is the cost of replacement rotors to consider, and the chance of getting a 154" wheel on...

No they are lug mounted, hence why I said ovaling holes would be only way to alter caliper positionThumbs up

Had to shape the pad to clear the bell with a flap discRoll eyes previous owner was obviously happy with them rubbing the bell permanentlyRoll eyes

Could go 320mm rotors looking at the calipers, the caliper will be in same position so won't effect wheel clearanceThumbs up

I ran AP 315mm discs easily with the same calipers on the old S2 Kev, no overhang or rubbing.

Just how you like it!

Yeah 315mm would be spot onThumbs up
Hopefully run these for a while otherwise buying new rotors now would double the cost of the brake conversionThumbs down

I had mentioned selling it a couple of weeks ago and the new owner told me they were very interested, subject to there car selling.
Had a text this morning saying a buyer was en-route for there car, followed by one a few hours later asking if the Rallye would be ok to drive away today!
So then was lucky as found a Post Office that could tax it open till 17.30 20 miles up the road, got my m8's trade insurance cert and got it taxed ready to goThumbs up
