Hello there, turned out my CAT didn't have a hole, it was the gasket between the manifold and the cat that had gone.

My mate at Kwik-Fit gave me the Diesel kit, didn't say which model, but I would imagine it would cover Dturbo and HDI. So, the question is, will this gasket and spring set-up for on the 6?

£25.00 ish from the dealer, Much better than any other factor rubbish you get which tend to fall apart in a few months

mine was from Kwik Fit And has been fine Yes

3 trackdays later and its still going Strong Dunno

As far as im concerned it will only fall apart if you have excessive movement, ie worn mounts.

Actually I'll +1 on this as mine is blowing.

Attempted to get the current sprung bolts apart at the weekend. The driver side one was okay as I could get a spanner on the back, but the other one is a nightmare for access.

Does anyone have any tips for this? The FAQ just says 'you need to have a play'. Unless I chop half my hand off I can't see how I'm meant to get in there???

i find the drivers side one more tricky tbh, get in from underneath or around the subframe.

it does seem tricky. the problem i have is the bracket for the gear linkage is bang in the way of where i need to move my hand for the passenger side one!

will have another go at the weekend. doesn't help not having a set of ramps i guess.

I'll have the benefit of a ramp either at Kwik fit or at work. I'm going to try this gasket it out, if it works I've saved money, if not then at least I'll have wasted my time haha.

I'm sick of having to wait for Poogeot to get parts in stock.

Just got my mate to order it through Kwik-fit, literally a two minute job... can't believe it was the police's vehicle defect form that prompted me to sort it haha
