Right, after waiting few months on my amp being repaired by kenwood its finally came back wiht a full yers warrenty as was fully checked, cost £80 to get fixed after postage fees an stuff, but the amp was over 300quid so thought id be best getting it fixed as was great. my set up is as follows

2x 12" 1800 watt kenwood subs
1x kenwood amp unsure what it is but it goes with the subs!
2x 6x9 200 watt kenwoods
Kenwood ipod head unit
The amp wiring kit to suit spec
Standard speakers in fornt

so what speakers do i need for front and should i bother bout tweeters?

Really cant wait to get tunes pumping again as missed it due to having to have space for pram, but buggy fits in beside my twin 12" box, so all good now!!

Get yourself the best set of components for the front you can afford.
If you trim the door card with a hot knife and make a ring from 18mm thick mdf that fits onto the metal of the door this will give you a good base and you should be able to refit the original grills and put a screw in from the bottom to hold it on to the ring.

Give Motor Mods a call just google the name and check them out. I have always used them as they are honest and well priced. Ask for alistair he is the owner and a great guy..

I have Alpine Type S components in the front of mine and have been superb, running off a phoenix gold 2 channel amp.

I'd also ditch the 6x9s too as they'll be doing nothing if you've got two subs in the boot anyway. It all depends on what you want, volume or quality? If it's the later you need to think properly about the sound stage.

A set of component units - 6.5" mid/bass and separate tweeters.
Take a look at Focal. You won't get better.
