I've been looking at getting a quick release boss for the steering wheel.
After quite a bit of research I've found that 99% of the kits on eBay are not acceptable for motorsport use.
The cheapest FIA approved one I've been able to find is this

Sorry no clickys on the phone.....
My question is, as it has to be welded onto the steering column what diameter is the steering column as I need to order one with the correct size slug.
Cheers
Cool

The threaded bit at the end or the splined bit?

Can't answer your question Wayne, but for what it's worth I just bought one of these for my new project.

It's a little bit more money, but is much less hassle than welding (and less worry about not getting the weld perfectly straight!) and is FIA approved.

With "club discount" you're likely to get the rpice down a little bit. Speak to Tony Beckett.

HTH Thumbs up
