My oil warning light and STOP light came on yesterday after some spiritted driving shall we say.

After a few seconds it went off again. I've checked the oil levels and everything is ok there. Hoping just a glitch but before this glitch becomes a catastrophe is there anything else I should be checking?

Cheers for listening now HELP ME!!! lol

Oil temp seemed fine not that I was looking down there that often in this lovely late night drive. However no overheating. And Yes I did notice in when I was entering a roundabout at a rather over zealous speed!

Does it not like me doing very heavy braking lol

Well under heaving braking or oversteer moments, the oil can slosh around in the sump, so ecu thinks your low on oil, so light comes on.

its not the ecu or oil level, just a pressure switch and a warning light on the dash.

i.e your engine is running dry when that light is on, which is very baaaad!

Razz whatever, just knew it was down to low oil, so when it sloshes around sump appears more empty.

Had it on an old 306, got home and found a pretty major oil leak LOL
