well lads! getting a new clutch soon along with a Rich W flywheel, just wondering what are your opinions on the best to go for....
i changed one in my 106 gti and put in a new valeo but i noticed it didnt have a solid bite when changing gears under very hard driving, it didnt slip but just didnt feel very solid if you get me Blink
so when i was doing the box in it a few months later i changed it for an organic type from ebay which felt alot better, bit 100% on each gearchange but still didnt have a stiffer pedal or anything (which is what i wanted as i have a bad left knee) LOL
just wonder now would this be a good clutch to get for the 6, as im a bit warey of the valeo now and only want to be doing it the once!!

hers a link to the same clutch i got for the 106 but for the 6

clutch

Taken from that 'chav' site, you use this site 99% of the time, yet you have more posts there Whistle

Standard valeo clutch seems to last quite long.

The Valeo is fine on the supercharged cars, so it will be more than adequate on a standard one!

Can't say I have heard good things about techniclutch...

well id have no problem goin for the valeo kit, i can get one at a good price but its just the experience with the valeo in the 106 that put me off, when i put the techniclutch in it was alot better but i suppose the 306 is a different car Huh?

anymore opinions lads? ill be more than likely buying a kit this week so want to make sure before i buy... like i said id go for the valeo except in the 106 where it wasnt the best under very hard driving.... it will be mostly normal driving with some hard starts and spirited driving you know you'rselves Roll eyes
and just dont want to be having to do the job twice Wink
