Anyone any photos of their number plates? Not tarty personalised ones, they're for w*nkers, i mean what design?

Tempted to get some pressed metal plates, but in the UK font because I can't be arsed with fines for some like the french ones. Mine are acrylic at the minute and they have rust in between the backing and acrylic layer from the fixing screws LOL

Lazy f*cker, guess you mean like this?

TBH my opinion on plates is standard FTW, I wouldn't want to give the Police any unnecessary reason to speak to me.

Jon I know what you mean, but i was under the impression the pressed plates were legal as long as they were reflective and correct spacing/font?

Or do you mean attract attention as they aren't "standard"?

Yes there is, it makes your plate more memorable when seen driving like a c*nt.

Some companies now make legal pressed plates.

Got to have the sellers name and post code as well as the BS or whatever markings.

Whenever i buy a car the first thing i do regardless of what plate it has on, i visit http://www.demonplates.com and buy some plain text with blue GB badge, the quality of them is second to none, theres nothing worse than seeing a nice looking car with tatty looking plates, and IMO all these different styles, french pressed etc... look quite tacky/chavvy LOL

Trust me when I say no one cares what your plates look like LOL

We're not in France, what's wrong with the standard UK spec?

Personalised plates have their place, on super cars and the like. When I see people driving things like Punto's or even 306's with them on it makes me automatically think tosser.

What about finding out where your 306 was bought from when new and having the orignal dealer plates?

Hmm seeing vernam's pics i'm tempted by some nice plain ones with the GB badge. I just need new ones as the car's sparkly but the plates are tatty.
