Has anyone ever replaced the two top hat bushes on the bell crank type part on the subframe? I have just bought two new bushes and a new distance piece and the distance piece is to big to fit inside the two top hat bushes. Its the same size as the old one as well. Im guessing you have to ream the bushes to size. The bushes will have to be slighly bigger so its not an interferance fit but how much bigger?

I agree there! They are going to take some reaming. How much oversize do you reckon to ream them? I dont want them to tight or to loose?

So the spacer does not fit through the bores in the bushes? I bought a pair of the bushes recently but haven't fitted them yet so I have not yet encountered that problem. Dry

You got the part number and price for the spacer mate? Might buy that part too so I can make sure I get it assembled and the clearances sorted before I remove the old part. Smile
