On the way to work this morning my stop light flashed on/off a few times.

Recently had head gasket done but coolant temp and oil pressure seem fine.

Also when the stop light was flickering I noticed the headlight beam and dash lights dimmed then went bright again.

The car was still running ok with no sign of stuttering when this happened.

I checked battery terminals and they are tight.

Any idea's what could be causing this?

Probably a lose connection somewhere and as the head has been off recently I would suspect the gear box earth connection.

Best thing to do is follow the lead from the battery down, one goes to the gear box and the other to the chassis leg. check they are both tight and that the cables aren't stretched or damaged.
