In the last months i'v conduct investigation for
installing RFK engine in my ZX16V with the original ECU.
the obstacles solved almost, only one remained unsolved.

to begin with the mechanical side:
the engine need to stand 1 more inch forward then the original, and need to sit little higher.
not a big problem to manage.

then there's the ECU that need to live with
un-multiplexed car, the problem occur when the ecu is waiting for signals from all the electric driven parts in the original car, like locks ,sunroof and so.
without it , the ecu would limit the engine to limp mode meaning 2000 Rpm as the new red line.
the solution of wiring all the car to multiplex parts is unacceptable for me.
then, i'v discovered after consulting with pug specialists, that by plugging the ecu or the CANBUS board to PEUGEOT scanner , there is option in it's menu to disable all the electric parts from it's lookup table.

but there is one last problem : the ECU is getting the vehicle speed input from it's ABS sensor.
the sensor wont fit to ZX because the drive shafts
differ.
after more search i'v found a guy in Netherlands
whose racing in dirt tracks with his NON ABS-ed 206RC, he found some guy who manged to crack the ecu code releasing the Restriction of 2000 RPM limp mode in the absence of ABS.
the problem : for a strange reason that i can't understand , he refused to make the connection with his programmer, so i stocked.
does someone in the UK managed to do that to ?
