What wiring can i take out from inside my track car. Any wire inside, apart from anything i need to keep it road legal (rear lights etc).
Also, are there any guides on taking the wiring out? Like the central locking and alarm wiring, as these are both some hefty bunches of wries.

All the orange is air bag so thats an easy 1 what i did was trace back from a component that i removed

I.E when i took rear motor out i checked back to the plug under the dash for which gives continuity then cut it out

It's not as hard as you think, just start off by removing the dash as this will give you full access to the loom. Then start with the wires from one door, trace them back to their source & cut them out, take your time! You will end up removing all central locking, elec window & stereo wires. The internal lights, glovebox light & central dash lights can go too. I removed my heater so all the wires for that went too. I got carried away & took the brakelight circuit outDoh I'll have to put that back in at some point....
The seat belt pretentioners & airbags can go too!
You will be amazed how much weight you'll save. I got stuck into the dash too & cut a massive amount of surplus plastic away whilst still maintaining a STD external look.

Good luck just take care

I would take the dash out, but due to the roll cage thats already in the car, i cant. There's no wiring in the doors. there's nothing in the doors, i bought the car quite track prepped. the only thing inside the car, is the dash, a cage, 2 buckets and harness's.
just wanted to tidy up the looks of it inside.
