Yes still have to upload pics of the inside sprayed black i believe. Not done too much over the winter. Have started making some flat black racing door cards. Fitted a snap off boss kit. And last night my new number plate arrived (cheers cwspellowe).

Started making some racing door cards a couple of weeks ago with my dad as he has all the required tools

Here is the first one cut out of a big piece like the one underneath

Outline done

and thats as far as we got the first time....

I went back around the other day to finish them off

and here is a picture of the door cards and removable steering wheel boss

(they just need a clean up with some white spirits to remove a few marks)

What do you think?

More weight gone!! Had to do the cambelt the other week so decided to do away with all PAS and A/C gubbins, including all pipes pumps pulleys etc.

Here are a few pictures.

New cambelt on and all timed up

lots of empty space

Shiney bits

fitted shiney bits

The new belt driving only the alternator from the leight weight crank pulley and kept tight with one of the old cambelt tensioners

The end result with all that free space and about 30-40kg of weight saved

It is SO much nicer without PAS you can feel so much more its a mod well worth doing!

good job. Hope family are well mate. I'm sure you'll drive a pas car next year and want pas back. I remember my old corsa that had no pas. Hated it and Cant work out why you've been such a nutter at removing everything. Wont have a car left soon!
