As you can imagine i was like a 6 year old in a candy store when i collected it and got started on putting even more personal touches on it in the case of modifying...

first i bought a near gear knob cab to replace the old origional one which was all chipped

then i went to a scrap yard that a friend works at to get some clear indicators.... however whist i was there in the yard there was a written off black 6 of which i bought its strut brace.

then the car was taken to Carl Chambers (gkz 306) to be lowered 40mm all round on spax shocks and springs

next i bought some brand new crystals and fitted them too

and this is how she stayed for almost a year however i did buy and install a full GENESIS system, from components run off alpine head unit with rear 6x9s powered by amp.. all genesis

OK.... the lasagne is coming along nicely.

the goal was always to strip the 6 and have 2 buckets and a roll cage so when the car was lowered the back was stripped so it would be level once all stripped..... however i put the interior back in as i wanted my music whilst in traffic jams.....

so i set about thinking of how to have a good sounding system in a stripped out car but still easilly removed for track purposes..
me and a friend stripped the rear aagain, bought some thin leight wood, measured uo and made a template to fit rear speakers and amp, i didn't want to put the speakers in the rear quarters as they would be harder to take out quckly and the amp would need to be bolted to the car.

here you are, after lots of testing of angles ets to get good sound / bass resinence we came up with this.

now i am a musician and obssessed with good sound quality and trust me it sounds GREAT!! took to my mates audio shop and he didn't think it would work saying it defies physics etc, but im telling you its great...

AND only 4 simple bolts to take it out on some lovely hand made leight weight brackets

the back is unfinished wood at the moment but will paint it black or gun metal along with the rest of the inside

Back on topic,
On friday i bought to bucket seats which i will be fitting on the 10th with Carl Chambers (gkz 206)

they are only raceland, but i am no 'brand whore' there comfy, black and do the job.

also on friday i removed my air bag and fitted and upper parcel shelf.... sadly my phone was dead so coulnt take any pics of the process, However its a very simple job.
1. disconnect battery and leave for 20mins
2. pry top of airbag off with a screwdriver.
3. undo the 4 T20 star keys on right and pull the airbagg out
4. drill out the rivets so you can take out the metal frame
5. srew in the upper glove box and re-connect battery.

Then i changed the steering wheel for a sparco off my mate

and here are the old bits...

some duckting to make cold air feed, think im gonna fabricate my own air box around the induction kit tho.

This is now up to date and as above says im looking forward to fitting the buckets friday 10th whist stripping the front
then.. battery to boot, lose the air con, roll cage and slight tints so no-one knows....except all you lot... LOL
