has anyone used a 3.5bar regulator iam told it gives better fuel and better throttle response??

only if the ECU is mapped to suit, generally it doesn't give any gains unless you're getting near maxing the injectors out, which you have to be pushing the low 200's at least as they are quite big as standard.

so the 3bar reg is more than enough even when running piper ultimate cams??

From memory one of Sandy's customers running a QEP built 2.2 MI16 and a Colin Satchell fabricated manifold was running gti6 injectors at 240 bhp/190 lbft at 3 bar fuel pressure, just a PeterT inlet cam and an off the shelf Maniflow 4 branch.



the Piper 285H have 1.86mm lift @ TDC on the inlet, too much for stock pistons.
