Any help greatly appreciated

the linkage has been fitted but I can't select a gear as the linkage now keeps fouling the exhaust manifold.

I've fitted the short shift so it runs in line with the gear arm.

Regards

phil

i think you have to undo the grub screws on it and pull the gear stick higher up in the car so it doesnt foul the exhaust.

Let me know how you get on with this. I have one but havem't fitted it yet.

Can you rotate it so it points away from the manifold?

I've fitted the the short shift and locked of the nuts.

Not sure on how the item should be angled.

I was going to to shorten the gear rod and try and bring it away from the manifold.

Anyone fitted one to there car?

Phil

Is there room to point it away from the manifold if you loosen the nuts off then tighten it up?

Part way to curing the problem.

Just replaced both engine mounts for brand new spoox items, the top engine mount is absolutely shagged.

When I bolted the new one in it moved the manifold away from the short shift.

I can select 1, 3 & 6 now just need to tweak the gizmo slightly and were done.

Will let you know when it's sorted

phil

Anyone got any photos of how they fitted there spoox short shifter? I cant seem to get my head around it. The whole is to big to hold the ball so surely slides further down the selecter rod? But evan when i wiggle it on a little and connect it nothing is shorter gear wise! Help please lol!

Surely unless I'm missing the point shouldn;t they supply fitting instructions?

Instructions would have been useful.

Still struggling......the shirt shift mechanism sits to close to the manifold and hits it everytime you try to select a gear.

Anyone fitted one successfully?

Regards

phil
