emm thats got me worried

that cable that comes off the negative terminal goes to the 13mm bolt (iirc) on the gearbox then to the earth point near the front of the battery (closer to the front of the car, there seems to be two earth points near each other here)

that sound right? Unsure

more and more people thinking its my earths Yes

Richw got back to me and said if the ecu was locked or anything like that - the fuel pump would still prime Yes

iirc, no
i will double check tonite, got an old friend who is a time served mechanic and owns a working Rallye and wants to help tonite, which is handy Smile so more relays and switches to test

also, regards crank sensor (the one with brown plug under the thermostat housing)
i have two of these, ones a few month old and the one that was on the car (working)n before i stripped it down
surely not both are faulty Sad

tried both two or three times now
pain in the ass to take them off Yes

mechanic with a Rallye turned up last night

we put my fuel pump, double fuel relay and inertia switch into his car and they all work, even had the ecu in his car, and it primed his fuel pump

we have the same voltmetre readings at the fuel pump plug on my car and his

he had a good look around trying to trace wires the could possibly be broken, we ran out of time it got quiet late

spikey, i forgot to check pin 14 specifically, he was controlling the volt metre, iirc we have 12v coming from at least one of the pins of the relay connector
