A while ago I bought a set of sports line Koni Coil-overs on the premise that they would just go strait on,...

Bollox! they didn't come with correct the vital parts to locate the coil-over spring to the standard top mount bearing case,..

sports line can't help and
PUG 1 ONE OFF think they can machine up new locators
to solve the issue put I'm pushed for time and have my doubts if the current suspension will get through the MOT due in a week or so Sad

my question is could I get another top mount for the 6 from Gazz etc coil-overs kits and marry up the Koni struts to the Gazz etc top mounts? if this is possible does anyone know what the best top mounts would be to get??

thank a lot Wink

Gaz amongst a few do a top spring pan to fit small diameter springs under the standard top mount bearing.

they're the same spring pan needed for 205's and 106's as well.

measure the coil and get a spring pan from any comany to suit... or fit adjustable top mounts with top hats on the coil..

haha you don't drink do you???

I'll buy you a bottle of pop Laugh

of course I'll buy you one! Wink

I got a locating pan from GAZ although what I am now concerned about is there's about 5mm of play between the spring and the locator pan's lip will this be ok or do I need one with a wider internal diameter?
