Done the usual search but i was kinding of hoping someone could pinpoint it for me instead of me guessing what it could be

ive started suffering a bad MPG (20-25) compared to what i used to get when i first bought it (28-32)

ive now changed the air filter for a standard unit, new lambda, full new exhaust system including CAT and have cleaned the ICV(stepper)

its starting to p*ss me off bigtime as i was driving home tonight, dipped the clutch for the roundabout and it cut out on me, didnt "buck" or "stutter" just died Dunno

can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Cheers
Dan

Not many more to choose from - CTS, MAP, TPS. I'd suggest the coolant temp over the others due to the fuel use.

most likely TPSYes

As i bet it never cuts out if you let engine brake to 1200rpm before dipping clutch

Looks like TPS was my culprit, i had a terrible problem of the car jerking as i backed off the accelerator and poor MPG

disconnected the TPS and it drove completly differrent Big grin

isn't there a way of recalibrating the TPS? something like turn the ignition on, slowly and smoothly depress then release the accelerator, then start the car?
