Not sure why. Boot will now not lock using the key fob or thr key now ! Not sure if someone has tried to get into it, the boot button itself gets stuck in, any help much appreciated!

Looks like every other thread is people not being able tk unlock it, must just be the reverse

Take the cover off that hides all the wiper motor and lock and take a look inside.

There may be part of the miechanism that isnt quite right.

My old 1.4 used to get stuck locked as the main pit that the button presses span round.

I'd say the locking solenoid is f*cked. Quite easy to replace.

Cheers for the replies, opened it up, wd40 soak and all good as new ;p must be that French 'charm' again lol
