Well i have just landed myself a very cheap newish van and want to have it sign written and lower it and fit some wheels.

This is where i need your help, if some one can use the pictures below and design a great set of decals or a wrap for the back of it etc i am willing to give them £50 or take that off of a job they require doing.

Basically i want as much info on it as possible, french car specialists, mots £35 (free retest), tyres, servicing, timing belts, recoveries, car sales, spares, etc.

Heres the van-

I have also been tring on a few sets of wheels i have, pro race 1.2s in shadow chrome-

Lions-

Here is a van local to me and i like it but i think its a bit ott, nice all the same-

Many thanks, any help is more than welcome, i am looking to do this asap so when a find a good photoshop etc i will be all over it.

Thanks, Carl

Carl, forget alloys, go for satin black 15" steels with 888's....sleeper mode but awesome

Lions don't look right, Pro Race in a darker colour would look good though

Your just copying the guy with the v6 there mei?

Well my 60mm lowering springs turned up today and i have had the van de stickered and the whole lot machine polished and waxed, well happy with the results, just waiting on someone to have a pop on photobucket and see what they can come up with.

At the minute i have a very clean looking motor crying out the be stickered up again.

I just had my van sign written by sign it
all you need is half an idea of how to create a logo on a bit of paer get someone to make it into a jpeg in photoshop then make the van signage on this website.
i went for a stealth satin black stripe down the middle of the van.

i also think a roof chop on these style of vans would make them look ace. maybe a french flag draped over it or mmmmm got me thinking now

Well i was bored and decided to remove all stickers off the van and give it a good going over with the machine polisher, its quite amazing how flat the paint can go over a short period of time, this is how she looks now-

A funny shot, this is the engine believe it or not and has a massive 70BHP, compared to a gti6 this thing is dead-

A better view of the handsome thing, although its good for 60mpg +-

Well as i never went out last nightShock , i decided to take a picture of the van before i lowered it-

Then it was into the garage where i ripped it to pieces and fitted it with some goodies.

First off on the ramp and all the wheels off, also whipped the sump bung out for a quick oil and filter change-

Time to get these fitted, a pair of -60mm lowering springs-

So out with these-

A bit of tweaking with this-

Oh i also decided to fit one of my big brake kits to it aswell-

Comparison of the old and new- (bit of a difference)

Offered up to the van and all bolted in place-

Time now to make me some braided brake lines to suit, one brake line and the required ends-

Once fitted-

Opposite end-

Fitted to the van0-

It was then time to tackle the suspension, with the front strut removed and out it was time to test my new bit of kit, shock out-

On the new bit of kit, so much easier and far safer-

Little bit of differenceWhistle -

New spring compressed and ready for me to re bolt the shock onto it-

One corner finished, big brakes on, lowered spring on, rebuilt and the lion refitted-

Unfortunately it didnt all go to plan, i removed the torsion bars out the back end and adjusted accordingly but on the drivers side rear the arm felt notchy when moving it up or down, i decided to remove the arm and inspect, upon doing this it was apparant we had a bearing issue, once the arm was removed it was clear to see the bearings (little needle rollers) had come out of the cage they sit in and just fell out, luckily the tube itself is fine so its a trip to the dealers monday to see if i can get my hands on a repair kit.

Heres the state i left it in-

Well with that the vehicle i drove to work i had to leave it there and make my own way back without it, have to say i was gutted (new toy and that).

I dropped the van off the ramp to get an idea of how it looked, here are a few little shots-

All in all pretty pleased, just itching to get it back on the road again now, looking at the parts catalogue its just a 206 rear axle so parts shouldnt be that bad to get hold of, fingers crossed.

Carl
