hi.
just trying to set my megasquirt up for my gti6 turbo, cant even get the b*tch to start though.
It managed to start and run for about 5 seconds the other day on a 1.6 xsi map (106) but ive since changed it and now it wont even turn over. i cant see how a 1.6 non turbo map would even be close to a 2.0 turbo map...
anyway

does anybody know what ignition settings i should be using. im looking for

trigger angle
teeth on wheel and missing (i presume this is 60-2?)
also any spark tables etc would be helpful.

cheers

put the 1.6 map back in and just get it down to some one who can set it up on a rolling road getting a turbo map wrong can be exspensive. would recomend that you retard the timming from 2500 rpm upward and increase the injector opening times by about 15% and then just run it very gently if you have to.Happy

Drop me a pm with your email and i'll send you all my MS files that i got my gti6 lump on bodies running with (although very badly). I remember it took ages to get it to pick up the cranking right.

It was 2 years ago and i've got loads of different files so easiest to just zip it all and email you.
