I've seen a few about, little standalone oblong 12v unit for clearing your windscreen and heating the car once you've taken the blowers out.

Anyone got a link? I remember seeing some quite decent ones in a post somewhere but can only find crappy ones now.

Search didn't bring up anything.

Cheers
O.

Ah, that's annoying - was hoping to do away with my blower matrix, but not only would I then not be able to demist but I'm pretty sure it's an MOT failure.

Anyone got any other suggestions, really don't want to be replacing the front windscreen...

Can't recall the blowers being checked at any MOT I've been to.

They weren't. All I did was put in a 4" blower pointing at the driver, passed a couple of MOTs no problem.
